东硕资讯领先全球拿下英特尔及苹果最新的Thunderbolt™ 4 扩充基座认证
计算机外设大厂东硕资讯股份有限公司（3272）于2020年11月16日率先宣布最新Thunderbolt™ 4笔电扩充基座产品已通过英特尔以及苹果的正式认证，已可量产出货，再次确立东硕资讯于扩充基座之领先地位。
东硕资讯专攻高速讯号传输以及整合技术，产品主要使用Thunderbolt™以及USB 技术之笔电扩充基座。东硕资讯与英特尔自2012 起，共同合作推动Thunderbolt™技术，历经了三代的技术演进合作。随着英特尔在今年推出 Thunderbolt™ 4控制器8000系列，英特尔最新的第11代Tiger Lake处理器均内建Thunderbolt™4为标准接口， 并采用USB Type-C端口设计，是企业客户及专业用户扩充基座的最佳方案。
东硕资讯此次通过认证的Thunderbolt™ 4扩充基座具备4个Thunderbolt™ 端口，在一条单一Type-C的连接线下，可传输最高达40Gbps的信息、连接单台8K或两台4K@60Hz显示器输出，可外接显卡，同时可以传输最高接近100瓦的电力充电。东硕信息的Thunderbolt™ 4产品同时兼容USB4及USB3.2/ 3.1/ 3.0/ 2.0。不论是Thunderbolt™ 4或是USB4，皆是一个更加便利的接口以连接更多的接口设备。
对于Thunderbolt™ 4这项新技术要维持高频讯号传输质量、面对高频阻抗匹配问题、且要设法降低高频信号在PCB及连接器上的衰减等种种技术难题皆是对新产品开发者的考验与挑战。然而，东硕资讯透过与英特尔的合作，成功推出领先全球的Thunderbolt™ 4 笔电扩充基座，可用于Windows 、 Linux 及最新搭载M1 CPU 及MacOS 11的MacBook Air、MacBook Pro 等Thunderbolt™ 或USB的笔电，达到跨平台使用的高端技术。
东硕资讯与英特尔多年来对于Thunderbolt™产品开发进行充分密切的合作，而英特尔投资部 (Intel Capital) 也于2017年参与东硕信息的私募案。双方针对Thunderbolt™产品的开发以及推广一向不遗余力，期待未来产品能持续推广并普及Thunderbolt™ 的技术应用。
