Good Way Technology Announces New Thunderbolt 3 Devices at CES and Funding from Intel Capital

Taipei, Taiwan and CES Las Vegas (January 12, 2017) - Good Way Technology, a computer accessories total solution provider and a developer of Thunderbolt devices and docking stations, unveiled at CES 2017 a cluster of devices and docking stations empowered by Thunderbolt 3 technology. Good Way also announced it has raised a multi-million dollar investment from Intel Capital, Intel's strategic investment organization.

Good Way has been working with Intel collaboratively driving Thunderbolt into mainstream devices & docking stations in order to broaden the full range applications of Thunderbolt technology.

The latest Thunderbolt 3 brings Thunderbolt to USB-C at speeds up to 40 Gbps, creating one compact port that does it all – developing the fastest, most connection to any docking station, display or data devices.
Thunderbolt 3 technology is the leading commercial and enterprise docking solution as PC OEMs transition from mechanical devices to cabled docking station. Moreover, with its 40 Gbps powerful capability, more wide range of applications and devices can be applied through this new technology.

“Good Way will use this investment in building a specialist team as well as more advanced and high tech equipment to accelerate Thunderbolt™ product development and in acquiring new manufacturing equipment for new factory expansion. The construction of new factory will start in 2017 with completion set in the second half of 2018, this facility will increase the production capacity tremendously”, said Robert Tsao, Chairman & CEO of Good Way Technology.
